Cleaning Home Everyone loves to come to a warm and neatly maintained home. The home that sparks and looks clean, smells good and loons neat is everyone’s desire! So, how to get a house that welcomes you with its cleanliness? There are several cleaning home tips that one can follow and find a house that shines at its best!

What are home cleaning tips?

Cleaning a home for a lasting shining look is not very difficult. You must begin from the interior of the house. A good idea for cleaning the house is to start cleaning from the top to the bottom. Take out all your cleaning devices- brooms, mops, sponges, wipes and get going!

A good idea to clean up the house is to target the cobwebs that make your house look so ugly. Take out a suitable broom which can be extended along with a screw and dust the corners of the rooms. Sweep the ceiling for all the cobwebs and the corners of the walls. If you have ceiling fans overhead, focus on cleaning it well. Glide your brooms on the fan blades and clean them. If the blades spin and are not stable, take a long stick and hold the fan blades steady for a better cleaning action.

After dusting the walls of all the dirt, focus on the doors and windows. It has been observed that clean and sparkling doors and windows give a fresh look to the entire home. Pour a bit of liquid detergent into half a bucket of water. Dip a piece of sponge in it and scrub off your doors with it. After scrubbing it away, wipe the doors off with a sponge dipped in clean water.

For windows, prefer cleaning them on cloudy days. A sunny warm day may cause the liquid soap cleaner to dry up faster on the glass panes and stain them. You can add 2-3 tablespoons of vinegar to a bucket of water and polish the window panes effectively. Follow up with wiping a sponge dipped in clean and cool water.

You must then scrub your walls clean. Do you have small children who are all the time busy scribbling on the walls? These walls look dirty and the marks of crayons and pens do not go easily enough. You may dip a sponge in a mug of water to which a liquid detergent has been added. Now, scrub the walls with that. You may also use a rough rag cloth for an abrasive action on the walls.

Similarly, for obtaining clean and sparkling mirrors, use hot water to which some vinegar has been added. Wipe a sponge dipped in warm water for a sparkling mirror. Follow it up with wiping the mirror squeaking clean using a newspaper. The end result would please you. If you have glass table tops, you can choose the same method of wiping it with cloth dipped in water to which some vinegar has been added. Follow it with giving a good shine with newspapers.

A good idea would be to de-clutter your house. Remember if you have lots of clutter lying here and there in the house, then the image is much dirties even if there is no speck of dust at all. So, go right ahead and tidy up the house. Keep things at their right places. Books in book rack, toys in a separate bag, shoes in the shoe rack and everything in its proper place. Dust the shoe rack and the book shelf with a sponge with furniture polish sprayed on it. If there is a lot of mess around, you must donate the old and unused items for charity. If you have not been using it for more than a year then you would not need it at all.
