Never Reveal Personal Information

For better privacy while using internet it is recommended not to reveal any personal information like credit card number, password, phone number etc., because many internet criminals try to extract personal and useful information of users surfing the internet. If such unwanted people happen to get your data, it could be misused by them and could lead you to problems.

Never Visit or Click Any Unwanted Link

While using the internet we can receive various links attached to our page, if it’s of no concern to you then it is better not to click on those links. Many fraud sites send their links through the internet and try to cheat users. So when ever you get any unwanted link just ignore it. Don’t click or respond to such sites referred by those links, by doing so you could be a victim of cyber crime.

Be Careful Of Spam Mails

It is better not to respond to any spam mail which talks about some attractive investment plans cause it could be a spam. Spam mails are cheap and easy to create; therefore cyber criminals make use of these types of mail to cheat the users using the internet. While responding or going through such mails, don’t reveal any personal information. If you do so you’re inviting troubles because there is a chance for misuse of the confidential information provided by you.

Be Careful about In-person Meeting

Meeting up with people whom you’ve met online is not a good idea. While communicating through internet you never know what type of person he/she is. If you want to meet try to meet at a public place and not in private. It’s advisable to not go alone to meet your date. Try to take one of your friends or siblings who’re 18 or older. If you can’t take someone along then inform your close friend about where you’re going and with whom you’re going to be with.
