Though it’s beneficial in many ways but still it can harm windshield surface. It is necessary to have good quality windshield wipers. If there is no wiper fluid or liquid on the windshield surface wipers can scratch or damage the surface of the windshield. So it is very important to check and maintain the windshield wiper regularly.
After trying hard, some times it becomes hard to remove some debris and junk. Try nail polish remover, WD-40 and vinegar. As tree sap, bird droppings and other sticky substances may cling to windshield reduces the visibility while driving. Always try to clean your windshield as you notice that your view is obstructed.
It is very important to keep frost out for people who live in a cold climate where snow and ice are common. Snow and ice can damage the windshield, especially if they are not dealt properly. Try to remove ice and snow as soon as possible with a snow brush. If you don’t remove the ice at initial stage it can get harder and will be difficult to remove. The best way to this is to keep your defroster on low while you switch on the car and scrap the snow ice manually with a snow brush or scraper. It is very important to check and replace the windshield blades at proper intervals of time. If you don’t check and clean the wiper blades, it can scratch and damage the windshield. Try to clean the wiper blades regularly. You can clean wiper blades with a wet cloth. But the best thing to clean wiper blades is alcohol. As alcohol cuts through the dirt and grease that your wipers collect while wiping the windshield.
