 Theatre and movies tips  Seeing movies and visiting the theatre are activities which can be done anytime of the day. Theatre and movies are really stress busters. When one goes to the movies one’s mind is diverted from humdrum problems of life. The mind anticipates as to what the movie is going to be like and also how the climax scene will shape up. Many movies have a moral story in them; these are eye openers for young and old. Theatre is where live performances can be well appreciated. The following Theatre and movies tips will assist you in making most of the time spent on the movie or in the theatre.

Some handy theatre and movies tips are as under:

  1. Firstly after one has decided on the movie make sure the tickets are bought in advance as then there will be no disappointment when you arrive at the venue.

  2. Reach the movie well in time.

  3. Make sure you enter the hall before the show begins. Otherwise those seated will get disturbed. Once seated talk only if necessary and if required.

  4. Go to the rest room before the show or during the interval, since you would not miss the movie.

  5. If you find the seats you’re seated in uncomfortable then change the seats as soon as possible, while the commercials are on.

  6. If those seated beside you are disturbing or talkative change your seats without any hesitation.

  7. Make sure all electronic devices such as mobile phones, pagers and watch alarms are either off or on silent mode. Noise while seeing a movie is most disturbing and irritating.

  8. Avoid talking or singing during the movie, it will disturb others.

  9. While seated in the theater, don’t make noise while eating, especially while using wrappers.

  10. Throw away packets and wrappers in waste bins only. Don’t scatter dirt all over the theatre.

  11. Refrain from resting your feet on the seat in front of you. You must keep your feet only on the floor.

  12. If you plan to bring children along for watching the movie, make sure it is viable for them to see the same.

Theaters offer live performances by artists from all over the world. During plays in a theater there are no re takes. During a play you can get involved in the realistic parts in the play, the manner in which dialogues are put across with hard work and memorization. The amount of hard work and determination put in a play is astounding, since sometimes there are a number of pages to be memorized.

You can keep your mind off work by getting involved in the play; keep an eye on the costumes whether they go well with the play. See whether the story is engrossing or is it boring.

When you are involved in the play and in the way the story progresses you tend to enjoy the play even further.

Movies and theatres help the mind to relax and stay calm from within. At least for around two hours one is able to forget about day to day tensions and get back home with a refreshed mind.
