You can help yourself for a career advancement at your work place by increasing your efficiency. This can be done by following some basic ground rules.

  3. Listening skills help you in better understanding of work. It helps you in enhancing productivity.

  4. Build a good rapport with people around, in your office . You can do this by helping people around you. You will also have to solve problems for clients and customers.

  5. Official record of meetings and discussions is to be maintained (i.e. writing minutes). This will help you remain updated in work.

  6. Learn time management. For this you will have to list what you have to do. Set priorities according to importance and put specific time limit for the work to be done. Above all get organized.
